Dashboard Overview & First Login
Sign in to Zeuslock for the first time and learn to read your security dashboard: the metric cards, the data-type and severity charts, recent incidents, and the time-range controls.
Sign in for the first time
- Open your Zeuslock dashboard in a browser and enter the email and password from your invitation.
- If your administrator has enabled two-factor authentication, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
- Once you are in, you land on the Dashboard — the “Overview of your DLP security”.
Set your personal preferences from the bottom-left of the sidebar: Language (English, Français, Español, Deutsch), Dark Mode, and your account with the sign-out button.
Find your way around
The left sidebar is your main navigation:
- Dashboard — this overview page.
- Incidents — every detection, with full history.
- Users — invite teammates and set roles.
- Rules — choose what to detect and whether to alert or block.
- Agents — your installed desktop agents.
- Shadow AI — AI tools discovered in use across your organization.
- API Keys — keys for SIEM and other integrations.
- SIEM — forward or pull detection events into your SIEM.
- Extension — deploy and check the browser extension.
- Settings — organization, billing, security, and compliance.
Read your security at a glance
The cards across the top summarize the selected time period:
- Total Incidents — all detections in the period.
- Critical — detections at critical risk.
- High — detections at high risk.
- Users — members in your organization.
- Active extensions — browser extensions currently connected.
- Agents Active — desktop agents currently connected.
- Prompts Captured — total prompts Zeuslock has inspected.
If Active extensions and Agents Active both show
0, no enforcement client has connected yet. See Browser extension and Desktop agent to get protected.
Understand the charts
- Data types detected — a breakdown of what kind of sensitive data was found (
password,credit_card,api_key,email,ip_address,source_code, and so on). Any custom rules you create also appear here by name. - Severity distribution — splits detections into Critical and Warning. Warning groups together high, medium, and low, so you will only ever see two slices.
- Incidents per day — a daily trend line of detection volume across the period.
Recent incidents
The bottom panel lists your five most recent detections, each showing a severity badge (Critical or Warning), the data type that triggered it, and the timestamp. Select View all to open the full Incidents page.
Change the time range and refresh
- Use the period selector (top-right) to switch between Daily, Weekly, Monthly (the default), and Yearly. Every card and chart updates to match.
- Yearly is available on the Business and Enterprise plans; the Starter plan keeps a 30-day history.
- Refresh reloads the latest data on demand.
Two shortcuts in the top-right
- Deploy Zeuslock — opens the guided setup to roll out the extension and the desktop agent.
- Generate API key — instantly creates an organization API key for integrations.
- The plan badge shows your current plan (for example Business); on the Free plan it becomes an Upgrade button.
When you generate an API key, copy it right away — the full key is shown only once.
Next steps
- Browser extension — protect prompts in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot.
- Desktop agent — cover desktop apps and CLI tools.
- Trigger your first detection — confirm everything works end to end.
