Using Zeuslock on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini & Copilot
How Zeuslock shows up while you use AI tools: the three things that can happen when you send a prompt, the toolbar icon, and what it means for your privacy and speed.
Zeuslock runs quietly alongside the AI tools you already use — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, and similar. Before your prompt or file is sent, it checks for sensitive data so you do not accidentally leak something. Most of the time you will not even notice it.
What happens when you send a prompt
One of three things:
- Nothing — it just sends. Your prompt had no sensitive data, so it goes through normally.
- A warning (Alert). Zeuslock found something sensitive and shows a banner naming what it found (for example “Email address and Phone number detected”). You can let it anonymize the prompt and send a safe version.
- A block. For the most sensitive data, a red “Send blocked” banner appears and the message is not sent. If you attached a file containing sensitive data, it is removed.
The toolbar icon
The Zeuslock icon in your browser toolbar shows it is active. It changes colour when it acts — amber for a warning, red for a block.
Privacy
Zeuslock checks your prompt against your organization's rules to protect company data. Your raw sensitive values are never stored — only a redacted record of what type was found.
Performance
The check happens in the moment and is designed to be fast and stay out of your way — you keep working at normal speed.
